Robert recently presented some ongoing research and led a 2 day workshop at the Machine Learning Symposium hosted by CITA and REAL in Copenhagen.
An introduction to a box of tools which are borrowed from evolutionary computing and machine learning. Methods have been edited and exploited to merge into the practice of architectural and engineering design, but also been translated to speculate in realms of form, drawing, and the dialogue with the machine. Is there a chance to establish new paradigms of design with any of those experiments? In applied research between practice and prototype we try to ask questions of relevance still exploring the possible and projective.
